It’s not exactly a secret that Chicago has a fabulous comedy scene. With spots like Second City, we’ve had some of the very best comedians come through our town. The Comedy Vault in Batavia brings you the same laughs just outside the city limits. They bring in some of the hottest entertainers from across the country to do sets. The venue itself is intimate and cozy, inviting you to leave all your cares at the door. They offer a wide range of styles and perspectives with comedians everyone will love!
The Comedy Vault Batavia Experience
Most people come to The Comedy Vault for their traveling shows. Over the past years, this space has hosted names like Jimmy Kimmel, Shane Torres, Michael Keaton, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Their lineup remains stacked, bringing in future acts like David Koechner and Kevin Nealon. The center typically runs 5 comedy shows from Thursday through Saturday nights. You will have the ability to either purchase tickets online or through their physical box office. Then, on the night of your show, you will be asked to show your ID.
Once you are in, you can sit back and get comfy while enjoying some comedy. While they don’t really offer a dinner menu, they have appetizers like beer nuggets, fried pickles, chicken bites, and chips and salsa. They also have drinks including coffee, cocktails, and wine. Just a heads up, there is a two item minimum purchase per person but even sodas and water bottles will count.

One thing I love about The Comedy Vault Batavia is how much they love highlighting local talent. If you want to see the best comedians before they hit it big, this is your spot! They offer Monday night open mics where you can come and check out new artists or even try out your own routine. They run food and drink specials on these nights, and there is no cover. No matter who’s up on stage, it’s a great experience!
