tHE "dATE NIGHT" SESSION

Marriage is beautiful, but it is also hard and I have a deep desire to honor that journey. I carry a special place in my heart for married couples and the intensity of what it means to commit your life to one another, whether the road has been smooth or you’ve been through some stuff and have found a way, kids or no kids. I want to honor your marriage and your continued YES to one another through a unique session experience offered to married couples of all ages.

In our session, I will come to your house or another location and set the tone for a date you have planned for just the two of you following our time together. I will listen to your story while fostering a loving, playful, laid-back environment as I capture the two of you reflecting on the life you have created together.

I want to contribute to the beauty that marriage is intended to be when lived out selflessly. I want your journey to be known. Can you hear it? Your child saying to a friend: “Look at this picture of my mom and dad. I’ve gotta tell you about their story…” And there will be a story to tell, a beautiful one, not despite the ups and downs but because of them. Having it all together doesn’t inspire. Perseverance. Commitment. Showing up. That does. 

Your marriage is worthy of being documented. I want to highlight that beauty and take you back to the love that started it all in the first place.

Thank you so much! I can't explain what happened, but it's like the session unlocked my ability to give and accept affection from my husband. I find myself wanting to snuggle with him and be with him – something that's truly been a struggle the last couple years. Thank you for breaking that down and building it up for me. I can’t wait to see the final images!

The "Date Night" session was not only amazing and fun but so good for our relationship! We were goofing around with one another, laughing, enjoying each other, and acting like teenagers again! When we came home I felt like we needed that session to forget about everything else going on and enjoy each other. Seriously, the whole experience put us both in a better place with one another and got us out of our funk. Thank you!

If Maggie gives all her clients the feeling I've had all day after our couples session, then she's seriously going to move mountains. I've just been completely head over heels for my husband all day! 2. Get on the calendar!

Once I receive your inquiry and finish my happy dance, I will get back to you with session dates and times so we can get it locked in the calendar! A non-refundable portion of your overall investment will be due at the time of choosing your date to make it unavailable others. Once we have these necessary details in place, along with a signed contract, the attention to detail and preparation will follow. I will be with you every step of the way! 

Now that everything is officially scheduled, we will get chatting about all the fun details: location, clothes, and overall preparation. It is important to me that I get to know your story so that I can capture authentic images that speak to your unique journey together. I will kick this off with a general questionnaire. Meanwhile, you will receive access to a free online styling service to assist you in choosing the best outfits as well as my personal styling guide and expertise. I find so much joy in helping you feel prepared, peaceful, and confident leading up to our session together. I'm here for you!

3. ask me Anything

The day is finally here!!! At this point, we will have touched base again a few days prior, final payment will have been made, and you will be ready to roll! This is the day that all you'll need to do is focus on the gratitude you have for the love of your life. Perfection will have no place in our time together. It will about embracing each other, exactly as you are, honoring the journey that has gotten you to this very moment. I'll be the one documenting the story unfolding, revealing the moments that capture the essence of who you are together in this season of your relationship. Marriage is holy ground and I take being invited into your story with great care. It is truly an honor.

4. Your Session

Within three weeks, you will receive access to your private online gallery, along with a slideshow, where you can view and download your images. You will also have access to a professional print shop with drag and drop design capabilities so you can get the highest quality prints off of your computer and delivered to your doorstep as easily as possible. 

Do prints often stay on your computer? Here's where I can help! I offer my own album design as an upgrade if you would like to take it off your plate completely and have it done for you. I get it, life is busy, but printing your album is beyond worth it. These are the memories that can be held in your hands and shared for generations to come. These photos are heirlooms. They are art. They are your story unveiled.

My husband and I just had our 10 year wedding anniversary and did a photo session with Maggie to celebrate, wearing our wedding clothes! It was so much fun. She did an outstanding job replicating some of our favorite wedding pictures and had some cute ideas of ways to involve our 3 young kids! We will cherish these pictures forever. It was also so special for our kids to see us in my dress / his tux! We can’t wait for a repeat for our 20 year!!!! Thank you Maggie!!!

Maggie came to our home on a cold February day for a couples "Date Night" session. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Maggie made it so easy for us. Her sense of humor and genuine excitement helped us feel natural in front of the camera. Her specific directions while shooting made the session painless, and honestly, a lot of fun!! We absolutely love having photos of us in our home. We will treasure these photos forever!
