Turtle Splash Water Park
Turtle Splash Water Park is one of the best-known water parks in Chicago. It opened its doors in 1972 and is considered the heart of the community. This park is way more than a water park as it is part of a tree-top escape, splash pad, dog park, skate park, sports fields, nature sanctuary, bike trails, playgrounds, and so much more. Turtle Splash Water Park includes waterfalls, a zero-depth entry pool, a bucket drop, body slides, toddler slides, and so much more.
This water park in Chicago is a fantastic place to have a birthday party, as you can access all this fun for up to 24 guests. You can have a reserved canopy area, catering, and cupcakes at your party! There are locker rooms, showers, and a cafe to snack out if you get hungry. They are open from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM during the season, and you can enjoy all the fun for a daily fee, or you can get a pass for the entire season. All kids under the age of 2 are free, and kids under 12 must have an adult with them.
Burbank Water Park
Burbank Water Park is where all the locals go to cool off for the summer and is one of the best neighborhood water parks in Chicago. Open for the past 40 years, this water park has something for everyone, including waterslides, diving boards, a zero-depth entry pool, and an aquatic playground for the little ones. If the little ones need extra help swimming, they offer swim lessons from 6 months to 15 years. After all that water play, your little ones will surely get hungry. They have a concession stand with an extensive menu of hot eats and cool treats to recharge your batteries and get you and your family back to the fun!
There is a daily fee to enjoy your day at Burbank Water Park. But if you want to enjoy Burbank Water Park all season long, they offer season passes. They even have super fun family nights with unique themes, such as Christmas in July and 80’s night, that are fun for the entire family.
Mystic Waters
As one of the largest water parks in Chicago, Mystic Waters is a favorite destination for the entire family. Mystic Waters has 37-foot water slides, drop slides, cliff dives, a lazy river, and a zero-depth entry leisure pool with fountains and jet sprays. At Mystic Waters, there is something for everyone, even the little ones, with splashtacular fun, a non-slip surface, and no freestanding water with multiple water sprayers. If you get hungry, you can snack at the cafe, which is perfect for lunch, refreshments, and snacks.
Mystic Waters is open from 11 AM to 9 PM, so you can spend the entire day and even into the night with the whole family. This water park in Chicago hosts the most fun birthday parties, including a private party area and catered meals that include hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, soda, and of course… ice cream sundaes!
