When it comes to kids’ activities, you really can’t do any better than music classes. Music gives kids a creative way to engage their brains as they learn brand-new instruments. Even if your child doesn’t have any dreams of being the next Taylor Swift, music will still be a lifelong skill that they hold close to their hearts. Now, it’s just a matter of finding the school that has the best options for your crew! As a Chicago family photographer, I adore chatting with parents about all the places they’ve discovered for their children. If you are looking for music schools in Chicago, here are the ones in the Tri-Cities I always recommend!

Give The Gift Of Music To Your Children At These Music Schools In Chicago and the Tri-Cities

Music Matters

24 N. Washington Ave, Batavia, Illinois 60510

Music Matters is a school my Chicago family has come to love! They offer classes for kids as young as 4. They know how to keep the lessons fun for kids while also being easy on you. You will be able to schedule sibling sessions at the same time, so you don’t have to spend half your life driving to and from the building. They also have an off-street parking lot as well as helpful staff members who will be there to answer any questions. Your child will have the chance to perform in their optional Red Carpet Recitals. With Music Matters, you can find lessons for guitar, drums, piano, ukulele, and more!

Hunt House Creative Arts Center

113 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174

Hunt House Creative Arts Center gives Chicago children options on how they learn at their music school. If your child does best with one-on-one sessions, you will be able to book private lessons for them. The school also offers group lessons where your child will learn how to work with others. You will be able to sign up for lessons to teach them piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, and drums. Singers will find voice lessons that will teach them all the technical skills. The center also has specialty classes in songwriting and music production, so your child can take a look at all the work it takes to create a song!
