Some of the best memories I have from childhood were the cool nights when my family and I went to the drive-in. A backseat full of pillows and blankets, popcorn, and our favorite movies playing on the big screen provided such fun family experiences. Chi-Town Movies
Chi-Town Movies provides an enjoyable and safe experience every night. So if you’re looking to take a night off on a weekday to enjoy a drive-in film, this is the theater to visit. Here, you can enjoy blockbusters and classic movies under the stars and order food and beverages from the ChiTown Grille. In addition, you can order delicious popcorn, tacos, wings, pizza, kids meals, and more and have it all delivered to your vehicle as you enjoy the movie.
You’ll only need one ticket per vehicle, and tickets are non-refundable. Keep in mind that outside food and beverages are also not permitted.

Chi-Together
Chi-Together mixes the nostalgia of an old drive-in with modern entertainment and heavily focuses on COVID safety and compliance. Located in the Soldier Field parking lot, Chi-Together brings back a sense of togetherness with a Chicago vibe and shifting live events and how we look at them.
Chi-Together has now put 75 Chicagoans back to work, avoiding layoffs, and 10 Chicago-based businesses also have been positively affected by the CHI-Together mission and event series!
The drive-in entry begins at 6:30 pm, with entertainment starting as doors open. The movie will begin just after dusk, around 8 pm. You can purchase tickets at the door via cash, Venmo, or Zelle, but you may also buy online. You may also bring your pets, but they must be leashed. 6 people are allowed per vehicle. Another perk of Chi-Together is that with your ticket purchase, you’ll also receive a free bucket of popcorn.
Route 34 Drive-In
The Route 34 drive-in is another wonderful theater to catch some of your favorite movies or even new ones as they are released in the theaters.
Each movie starts at dusk, around 6:30 pm. After you park, turn your radio station to 87.9FM to listen to the film. If you’re a little hungry and ready for some great movie snacks, you can take advantage of the made-to-order options. Keep in mind that this drive-in is a cash-only location. Route 34 will not accept credit or debit cards of any kind.
