As a Naperville family photographer, I’m always scouting out the best kid‑friendly locations, not only for photoshoots, but for real, everyday mom life too. And if you’re anything like me, once the warm weather hits, you’re constantly looking for places where your kids can run, play, and burn off that endless energy. Splash pads? Total lifesavers. Here are four of my favorite splash pads in Naperville. Wach offers something unique for families looking to cool off and make sweet summer memories.
3109 Cedar Glade Dr, Naperville, IL 60564
This beautiful plaza sits right next to the 95th Street Library, making it a perfect two‑for‑one stop for families. The splash pad is push‑button operated, zoned, and runs cycles of different water features, which keeps Naperville kids guessing and engaged. It operates from Memorial Day through Labor Day and is free to use. I personally love the energy here with lots of families, shaded seating, clean restrooms, plus a playground within sight. It’s one of those places where you can easily stay for hours, and it’s also a great backdrop for casual family photos.

3252 Wolf’s Crossing Rd, Naperville, IL 60564
This splash pad is part of an enormous 33‑acre Naperville park filled with playgrounds, sports areas, and even a zipline. Like the 95th Street Plaza splash pad, this one is also zoned and runs daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. As a photographer and a mom, what I adore about this park is the space. There’s room for kids to run and for parents to relax without feeling crowded. It also makes for a great post‑dinner golden‑hour hangout (or photoshoot!).
523 S Webster St, Naperville, IL 60540
This splash pad is wonderfully unique because it’s tucked inside Naper Settlement’s child‑focused Playscape and is designed especially for ages 2–7 in Naperville. Here, water play meets history, imagination, and sensory learning. Kids can pump water, splash in gentle spray features, and explore a fort‑style play area. Water features run May 15–Sept 30 when temps are above 70°. Your family can have a whole day of fun at Naper Settlement, as your general admission includes full access to Playscape and the various exhibits and historic buildings. Pack a lunch and catch some shade in the picnic area. This spot has a charming, old‑fashioned vibe that is perfect for capturing playful, natural photos of your little ones.

3380 Cedar Glade Rd, Naperville, IL 60564
While Frontier Sports Complex doesn’t feature its own dedicated splash pad, it’s directly connected to the 95th Street Community Plaza, meaning you essentially get access to all of those water features plus tons of extra green space, trails, and sports amenities.
If you’re looking for a big open park where kids can move freely before or after splash time, this one is perfect. It’s also a great spot for relaxed family photos thanks to its wide-open fields.
I hope this little roundup of splash pads in Naperville helps you plan some fun summer outings with your kiddos!
